Notification on Regulations for Transporting Fruits and Vegetables

Dear valued customers, According to the regulations of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the transportation of fruits and crops within the state of California requires compliance with strict inspection regulations. Vegetables, fruits, or crops must have valid inspection certificates, be free of plant diseases, and must be properly packaged. Fruits and crops may also be inspected at inspection stations and may require transportation permits or origin certification receipts. Please ensure compliance with these regulations to avoid legal issues.

Notification on Regulations for Transporting Fresh Meat/ Fish

Dear valued customers, To ensure food safety and compliance with the regulations of the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and USDA, fresh meat and live fish products must adhere to the following requirements during transportation:

  1. Inspection certification: All fresh meat and live fish products must have a valid inspection certification from the competent authority, confirming that they have been inspected for quality and food safety.
  2. Packaging requirements: The product must be packaged in a sealed package, protected from contamination, ensuring hygiene and not damaging the product during transportation. For fish and meat, the packaging must ensure freshness and quality. The outer packaging must include the full name, address, and telephone number of the sender and recipient.
  3. Packaging temperature: Fresh meat and live fish must be stored and transported at a temperature below 4°C (39°F) to ensure safety and prevent the growth of bacteria and pathogens.
